I’ll start. I called @dpuff a “PUSSY” jokingly for not spending money on some figure that I don’t even remember. Stupid me. If I would’ve called him a “tranny” or “she-male” instead, I’d have been promoted to admin.

Maybe it got deleted in the original thread, but I had just messaged Forty and said in jest, “Now, watch me get banned for calling Dpuff a ‘pussy’ for not buying whatever new figure it was…”
Maybe the funniest part about it was that you even responded and said something like, “I hold a similar standard for manhood: whether or not someone likes the same toys as me,” and whichever admin banned me had to edit your comment so that it looked like you were talking to yourself.
That shit was hilarious and totally worth it.

Son of a bitch. No i had no idea. I had ppl messaging me nonstop after asking what happened to you bc of the #freechristiano. I assumed it had something to do with that ko thread. That’s why I didn’t even bother discussing it with anybody… The moment you’re at that point, it’s not a “mistake” or issue of interpretation: right-wing, virgin nerds don’t like people who call them nerdy virgins. It’s not more complicated than that.
But that said, I do think that it’s fucking awesome that you and Forty did what you did, because even though I’m not interested in taking that one mod’s offer to explain it to the board admins, it still probably made you each persona non grata to do so.

Thanks for the kind words man. Talking about toys is fun but meeting cool people is what it’s about. I told Dpuff before but I think in these weird times, us messing around actually gave me hope. And interestingly enough, others wanted join in too.

The only problem in the case of TFW is that any messing around will always have be bounded by the stretchable limits that the mods (and the sponsor stores) have, and they may simply delete everything on a whim.

I’d have to second this notion. I think one of the things that they didn’t like about us (and there were many) was that we were promoting Chinese websites, who aren’t sponsors, with our links to PO and in-stock items. I didn’t think about it before until Marcelo mentioned that they shut us down when people started slagging off TFSource.
